Purchased by Lake Havasu's McCulloch, the London Bridge was dismantled and relocated to its new home in Arizona, block by block. London Bridge Days is an annual celebration of the arrival of the bridge, featuring a town parade and concerts under the bridge . Many had believed that Lake Havasu's London Bridge is a replica. But, this really is the London Bridge. If you look close you can see the numbers on each block, used to rebuild it here in Lake Havasu. You can even see the chips and marks of early battles. Lake Havasu is a paradise for outdoor recreation. With over three hundred days of sunshine each year, the region draws golf and tennis enthusiasts, who simply could not imagine living anywhere else. While Lake Havasu is situated in the desert, and benefits from the typically arid desert climate and beautiful desert scenery, Lake Havasu itself offers a refreshing place to take a break from the dry desert heat.

One of the region's largest events is the Festival of Lights, when over one million lights adorn the London Bridge and English Village.
